Hunan food is hot but delicious
at night , if you wanted to have midnight snack , you would go to Nan Menkou

Favorite thing: Variety! Hunan is full of many different places to go and things to do. Zhangjiajie is a maze of strange moutains with the odd monkey or two scrambeling about. Yueyang is an important old city on the Yangtze River where it joins huge Dongting Lake. Hengyang has temple dotted Nanyue, also called Hengshan, one of China's 5 most sacred mountains.
Fondest memory: Hiking in the surreal rock forests of Zhangjiajie is amazing. The scenery is unique and if you come here at anytime other than major Chinese holidays, you will enjoy.
