Absolutely the best food I had in Kunshan. The Korean restaurant is very close the one and only Starbucks in town. English menu with a good selection even for Vegetarians. Might be a little pricy compare to the other restaurants in town. But it is well worth the money. Seafood Pancakemore

Kunshan Local Customs
I'm here for the crab!
The best time to visit Kunshan is during the fall months. This is when the famous "da jia" crab is harvested by the local farmers from Yang Cheng lake. This tiny crab is wonderfully unique and SWEET. I've never tasted a sweeter crab! But be warned, for those of you who aren't good (or don't enjoy) a good fight with getting the morsels of meat out of this tiny crab, I don't recommend it--but more power to everyone who does!
You will notice the crab houses along the lake during the non fall months are always closed. They simply don't serve crab unless it's live and fresh--and that's during the fall! Supposedly, the farmers make all the money they need for the year from selling these crabs for only 3-4 months out of the year.
