A modern observatory operated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, this is also a museum of ancient astronomy, with centuries-old star charts, an armillary sphere invented 1,800 years ago and an ancient celestial globe.

    Zi Jin Shan Observatory.

On a clear day, you'll see the entire city of Nanjing from here.

For those interested in astronomy, this is a must!

Check out the Celestial Globe invented in Han Dynasty & the Sundial which was invented more than 3000 years ago!

Zijin Moutain is a beautiful mountain near nanjing city. The observatory is an old building in the moutain. From there, you can have some views for this moutain. There were also some ancient Chinese scientific and astonomy equipments displayed there.
