Nanjing Lukou Airport is 35km away from town. Taxis are available at around RMB100.

This is a huge city where travelling by bus would be recommended but make you get a good copy of Nanjing Map, with clear bus numbers.

I took the train from Shanghai. It was a very comfortable ride. Always choose 'soft seat'! The price differential is meagre & traveling in China is relatively economical by world standard.

fly to Shanghai,then take T1 or other trains to Nanjing,it takes 3-5 hours train from Shanghai to Nanjing based on different types of train.
