The train station is located in the west of the city. I took a train from Suzhou on the new Japanese bullet-train looking CRH trains which you should really try out as they are amazing. Check out the website below for train times and destinations:

This cable car connects Jiao Hill, which is an island in the Yangzi River, to the mainland. I took it to get across to the hill and it cost Y20 and then took a boat back from the Dinghui Temple which is located at the foot of Jiao Hill.
Admission to Jiao Hill: Y50.
Take bus 4 to the last stop.
