Besides the many shops at Zhouzhuang, you can witness the more traditional street vendors of Zhouzhuang selling stuff like food, vegetables, drinks etc. They give the town an added spice of life and vibrant.

What to buy: We dropped at this shop to buy combs made from bull's angle. What attracted us was the woman who was making combs there - you don't have to worry that what you buy is fake. We heard such combs are very good for blood circulation - good for health. You can also write your own words on the comb too.

The shops are everywhere in Zhouzhuang selling souvenirs, crafts, clothings etc. The people will pester you to enter to buy things. Remember to bargain and cut the prices by at least two thirds.

We found this little shop selling Chinese instruments. Even though we didn't buy anything from it, it was certainly a good time to watch the shop owner play them.
