Ancient villages and tree covered mountains
Jiangxi has traditionally been a major center of Chinese culture and commerce. The Yangtze River runs along the northern border. Other rivers connect it with Hunan and Guangdong. Porcelain is its most famous product; fireworks are its deadliest. In the past it was rich but today Jiangxi is still very poor and many parts, especially the southwest, are undeveloped. Take off in any direction and you will find old white houses with turned up tiled roofs. The mountains along the border with Guangdong and Fujian are one of the last places where the South China tiger might still live. My wife is from Jiangxi! You figure it out!
