    Near the Train Station, this street has lots of shops with signs in Russian, including some restaurants as well.

    There you find every kind of cheap gadget you may imagine...

    Quite interesting, since Dalian was a Russian protectorate until the mid 1900's.

    • This huge square can be observed from the plane when aproaching Dalian.

    It has an oval form with a star in the centre.

    Interesting place for a walk, although when we visited the city, there was a beer festival taking place there and the square was close for normal visitors...

    Another popular beach near Xinghai Park and the SunAsia theme parks.

    As you notice, beaches here are crowded duriing summer, but they are not specially attractive.

    Dalian is famous for pretty girls in China. If you travel here, please also don't miss seeing the pretty policewomen. Local people say, they are one of the most beautiful view in Dalian. You can see this special scenery in People Square.

    If you come to Dalian, pls DONT miss a western road of
    this city, Ying Bin Rd., which means 'Welcome' in English. Rent a Taxi, go along this road will be the most romantic thing you can do in a seaside city.
