This is one of my favorite restaurant in DaLian, It's a contemporary Chinese restaurant inside Dalian Hilton , offering a combination of Hangzhou, Cantonese and Dalian seafood specialities in a modern stylish setting. I love the red wine steak and if any of you can ask the chef to share this recipe, pls let me know, I forget to ask everytime I was there:).
Favorite Dish: the red wine steak with sesame toast, this is the signature dish in this restaurant, the red wine sauce is both sweet and sour, the beef is both tender and juicy, the sesame toast...oh well, you got to try it.

It is really great to find the street vendors in this city, but it so pity I am not dare enough to try it. Must think twice maybe. Somebody who ever try how it tastes, then could be great to have news for their experience. mmm. yummy ... the local people said. until today, after back home whenever I see this picture my stomach becomes pain.

Tired of Chinese food while in Dalian? Splurge and have a fancy lunch or dinner at the Intermezzo Restaurant in the Hilton Hotel. Serving buffet and numerous international entries, including some great pizza, this restaurant can serve as a nice break from the excellent local food available in Dalian.
Favorite Dish: Try the seafood pizza!

Unlike the Pizza Hut, my wife and I did not like the McDonalds food in China as well as the Mc Donalds food in the USA. We did not eat there more than 2 or 3 times in 10 weeks. The Chinese people, however, really enjoyed it because the restaurant was always full of people when we went in.

My wife and I eat pizza once a year in the United States. The Pizza Hut in the Zhong Shan District, west of the Swissotel, served better pizza than we are accustomed to in the USA. It is very interesting watching people build a salad in the Pizza Hut. Try to get a table next to the salad bar!
Favorite Dish: They serve better pizza than most pizza restaurants in the United States.

My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. We ate here many times a week. The food is as close to American as we found in Dalian. They had a couple of waiters that could speak English, which was helpful. It is only two blocks west of the Swissotel, easy walking distance. I believe the main entrance of the hotel faces east.

This is a place I recommend only if you've traveling in China for a long time and miss Western food or if you want to eat at an American style coffee shop. It used to be place to go when I wanted a good cup of coffee but now that Starbucks is in town, I'm not going so often.
They have a very nice breakfast buffet on weekends and menu in English.
Favorite Dish: I go there for the coffee and sandwiches

This place brews amazing beer and offers a wide range of Chinese dishes and seafood. The speciality is thin pancekes that you use to wrap food with (kinda like make fajitas) They have a menu in English
Favorite Dish: Sweet and sour fish squirrel style.

This is an all you can eat Brazilian style BBQ restaurant. They brew six different kinds of beer and the service is great. They bring food to your table until you have to say stop!!

Fine Spanish restaurant offering from Tapas as appetizers up to an original Paella, accompanied by Spanish wines or a fruity sangria... splendid!
We have begun with some tapas, ending up with a fantastic vegetarian Paella.
Cozy ambience, fine latin music complete the atmosphere.
Very much recommended!
