There is a greatest work in China, Dream In Red Mansion. Its author is Cao Xueqin. We know that Cao wrote this book in Beijing, the capital of Qing. But, not many people know that his hometown was in Liaoyang. The city can not miss this chance to promote itself. The Monument is hiden in a busy commercial street and you will feel a little calm inside.

Guangyou Buddhist Temple Liaoyang is a huge new temple complex built by the Buddhist community in Liaoyang. The seated gold Buddha inside the main hall requires you to crane your neck to see it.
The picture of Haoxuan was taken in front of the temple grounds gate.
A container to the left of the Buddha statute has small windows to view one of Buddha's fingers. When I was there it was not lit and nothing could be seen inside.
