This farmer looks to be the proud owner of a three wheeled vehicle which can be used to literally pick up chicks (and other farm animals) or offer a ride down the road to foreign tourists going far off the beaten path.
Three wheeled vehicles can be seen in many rural areas of China, but I had never seen one as nice, big, and shiny as this particular one. Cool!
If you visit Lijiabao without hiring a taxi, then you just might need to hitch a ride to the next town. Don't be afraid to ask a friendly farmer to ride in the back of his truckcycle. It will be a memorable experience for both of you.
