Favorite thing: I visited Xining in April 2007 while coming back by train from Lhasa (Tibet) and I discovered a beautiful town at the foot of the mountains of Tibet (2500 mt above sea level).
Fondest memory: I appreciated a lot the welcome and politeness of people.
