Visiting the Hukou waterfalls was a real adventure. We were in the car for more than 10 hours (5 from the Wang manor to Hukou, and 5 from Hukou to Xi’an), and when we arrived at the waterfalls there was some kind of sand storm going on, so we only stayed for 15 minutes. The view itself is spectacular though, and when the weather’s nice, you can stay longer of course. But for me it couldn’t make forget a day in the car.
