Personally I think it is way too expensive. Anyway it is nice to try it once and tell the world that I have tried the dumpling banquet in Xian. We have the dumpling downstairs where the locals eat since they are a lot nicer and cheaper.

If you like eating dumpling, the classical Chinese food , you should enter the restaurant to taste various dumplings with different fillings; if you have less interests in eating them, you should go there to enjoy dumplings with different shape and color. The dumplings here are more than a kind of food, they are handcrafts. On the first floor, they serve ordinary dumplings. The dumpling feast is upstairs.

Favorite Dish: The price of dumpling feast is from $10 to $30, while, I think, $10 is enough.

Favorite Dish: walnut dumplings -- first to last bite.. all you chew are walnuts....

They produce some of the best dumpling in Xi’an. Well, I don’t quite impress with them. It could be over promoted by tourist and the local taste somehow not quite match with mine.

Foods here are tasteless, neither salty nor spicy.

Jiaozi (Dumpling) Feast: Jiaozi (Dumpling) Feast is a kind of newly created well-known feast of local flavor on the basis of the traditional dumpling recipe. Jiaozi feast is made of the selected fine ingredients, inviting and unconventional in appearance with a great variety of fillings, which tastes delicately sweet and rich in nutrition. It is indeed a mixed combination of good-looking, good smelling and delicate good taste. Now Jiaozi feast has 180 varieties. There are several dozens of feasts, such as ' Court Dumpling Feast', 'Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea', 'Dragon and Phoenix Feast' each of which has its own shape and a hundred dumplings have a hundred different tastes.

Favorite Dish: very famous for their dumpling served in bamboo baskets. savoury for starters and sweets ones as well. it is quite amusing when the waitress sings your fortune as they spooned the balls balls - they will sing humourously

There are row upon rows of restaurants found at Bell Tower area. In fact, you can hang around at the square between these restaurants and enjoy the beauty of the Bell Tower after dark.
