The temple to the "eight fashionable gods" by the sea in Penglai is worth the trip. It simply looks like the type of ancient architecture that we imagine exists in China. In an hour and a half, most of it can be seen and photographed. Don't forget to try the free tea at the tea house.
There is also Penglai Pavillion, a walled city that can be toured on foot. Allow at least 3 hours if you want to see it all.

Penglai Pavilion has another name is fairyland in the world. On the Pavilion, if there are fog upon the sea, lucky enough, you can see the mirage.
