Pudong Flights

Even if you're staying in Puxi during your visit to Shanghai, it's easy to get to Pudong by taking the #2 metro line.

If you have some extra time in Shanghai, you might find it interestd to take a subway ride out to either Dong Chang Rd. or Wei Fang Rd, or even deeper into Pudong if you like (although there is very little going on at the terminus). Dong Chang Rd. and Wei Fang Rd. have a lot of local culture. You'll pretty much only see Chinese people, and the foreigners you do run into probably live and work in Shanghai. So, I suggest coming out here if you want to see a part of the real city - you can combine doing this with a trip to the Jinmao Building or Pearl Tower (to get to those places, get off at the Lu Jia Zui stop; it's the first stop in Pudong). Dong Chang Rd. and Wei Fang Road are the 2nd and 3rd stops into Pudong, respectively.
