Established in the 1930s, Meilongzhen is a Shanghai institution, having been visited by countless foreign dignitaries, as is evident from the photos on the walls. It serves Shanghainese and Sichuanese cuisine. Food quality is okay and service so-so.
Favorite Dish: The Shanghainese dishes are fine, but I've had better elsewhere.

Hui Guo Rou -- A dish where you need to do it by yourself. Just kidding!! What you need to do is, get your hands washed first. Place the ingredients on a round thin layer of cooked pasta, roll it or any way you prefer. After all, it's all inside your stomach, who cares!
A pot of green tea, Long Jing will help to minimize the fat which you have just eaten.
