My buddy has been living in Shanghai for five years and everytime he goes back to the States, he eats Mexican food until he gets tired of it, because as he said: "There are no good Mexican restaurants in Shanghai".
Well, I took him to Mexico Lindo, and he can't say that any more. Not that Mexico Lindo is the best Mexican food in the world, but it is the best Mexican food in Shanghai.
We started with the Nachos because the table next to us got the #$!@#! last order of made-at-your-table guacamole. The nachos are made individually, and you get 8-10 "chips" per order.
The tacos were great, as were the fajitas, and lamb birria (which I what I ordered). Margaritas were delicious - but the price tag 160RMB per pitcher seemed a tad steep.
Anytime I crave Mexican food, I jump in a taxi and head to Mexico Lindo. That is, until I can find something better.
Favorite Dish: Lamb Birria
