Favorite thing: In Chengdu, I used the China Comfort Travel agency to organise my permit and flight to Lhassa, Tibet.
I was very happy with their price/condition and efficiency.

Favorite thing: visit some of the places were the local Chinese eat and try something typical Sichuan.See the pandas.Buy some GINSENG wine with the root in the bottle.
Fondest memory: Sitting almost alone in the huge banquet hall of the Jing Jiang Hotel and watching the waitress's standing at the end of the tables watching me.Asking her to put on the tape I had with me of dance music and watching the smiles come across there faces. The room could have seated more than a thousand but there weren't more than 15 tourists eating then, but maybe 40 girls working standing and waiting for some imaginery group. I visited a local cafe the following day and took this picture.
