Nuorilang Waterfall is the widest span of high mountain waterfall in the world. “Nuorilang” in Tibetan, means the Masculine God. It became an icon of Jiuzhaigou.

To get the best picture of the waterfall, you have to climb a flight of steps to the view gallery which is just across the road. You could see the autumn leaves and vegetations at the top of the waterfall.

If you find this beautiful, you must take a walk to the Pearl Waterfall and see how awesome and magnificent it is. In winter, the waterfall will freeze and enormous icy curtain will be formed.

Long Lake is located on the end of Zechawa Valley which stretches 18 kms from Nuorilang to Long Lake. It is of the highest altitude and the widest surface area of all Jiuzhaigou lakes.

Its water are ink blue and the peaks are covered with snow all the year around.

Take the stairs and you will be able to reach the edge of the Long Lake where you could find the stone tablet of Long Lake.

Five Colored Pond is the smallest lake in Jiuzhaigou. It attracted many visitors because of its bright, vibrant and distinct colors. The water appears dark blue, glittering and vibrant under the shining sun.

The legend about the pond was this is where Goddess semo wash and comb her hair and God Dage came everyday to bring her water. After some time a 189 stone steps was formed. Semo's rouge came off from her pretty face and colorized this pond.

Couples in love believe that if they take the 189 steps to the side of the pond and make a vow to Heaven and then walk back up, they will live happily ever after.

Our buffet lunch was at the building just opposite the Nuorilang Bus Terminal.

We were warned to put our expectations very low for our meal at Jiuzhaigou. There are no spoons and you will have to eat with a pair of chopsticks. Gulp your soup down from your bowl.

After lunch, we went on to shop inside for souvenirs. I brought a panda soft toy for 25 Yuan.

Panda Lake has a transparent pool of water that could create a mirror image of the mountains around it.

It is named Panda Lake because a lot of giant pandas in Jiuzhaigou often come over here to look for food and drink.

Take the stairs and it will lead you to the Panda Waterfall.

We visited four waterfall in Jiuzhaigou.

If you walk deeper into Panda Lake, you will find a flight of stairs leading you to the Panda Waterfall. You will find steep stone steps and a waterfall pouring down to the valley below.

You could hear the rushing water as you get to Panda Lake. This overlapping waterfalls form a magnificant sight. In winter, the waterfalls will be frozen and turned into an ice wall.

The Pearl Shoal is at an altitude of 2433m above sea level. You can walk across the shoal by crossing the wooden bridge where you will see water running just below you.

There are various shrubs grown on this shallow shoal. It is named Pearl Shoal because when the sun is shinning, beads are splashing like sparkling crystal pure white pearls on the surface and looks like pearls pouring out onto the shoal.

I would consider Pearl Shoal Waterfall as the highlight of my tour in Jiuzhaigou after visitng four waterfalls.

The water came rushing down from the Pearl Shoal and down from the cliff. The view of the waterfall is both magnificent from the top and as well from below. The viewing gallery is built strategically for us to take pictures with this awesome fall.
