Long Lake is my favorite part of Jiuzhaigou. It is the longest and largest lake in the park. It is located south east of the valley, take the green bus to reach here.
Elevation: 3,102 meters
Long: 4,390 meters
Average Width: 200 meters
Average Depth: 80 meters
Total Area: 930,000 square meters
It looks like an huge river surrounded by mountains and trees. It has amazing blue and green colors on the lake.

In Chinese: 珍珠滩瀑布，zhen zhu tan pu bu
Pearl Shoals Waterfall is the largest waterfall at Jiuzhaigiou. Water is flowing from Pearl Shoals and falling at end of the cliffs to create stunning views of wide waterfalls. You could see the waterfalls from different angles to capture different views.

After visiting the Peacock Riverbed, you will be surprised by water flowing all over the places as you will be seeing Pearl Shoals.
Pearl Shoals is at 2433 meters above sea level. It is a different kind of scenic landscape that you will be seeing in Jiuzhaigou. The beauty of water flowing all over the places and you would be standing on a wooded walking path to listen and amaze by this nature beauty.
At the end of the walking path, you will be seeing the largest waterfall in Jiuzhaigou, Pearl Shoals Waterfall.

Peacock Riverbed is another lake with clear and colorful water. It is beside Five-coloured Lake. You can see old woods sink under the water.
From Peacock Riverbed, you will start seeing the water steam from all over,Pearl Shoals.
In Chinese: 孔雀河道，kong que he dao
After enjoying Panda Lake Fall, you will see " Five-Coloured Lake".
It is also called " Peacock Lake". It has water at different depths covers a color spectrum from pale blue through aquamarine to emerald green. Geologists attribute the phenomenon to mineral concentration. The view is crowned as a wonder of Juizhaigou.
Peacock Riverbed is just next to it.
In Chinese: 五花海，wu hua hai
From Panda Lake, you will continue walking downhill. You will see water running along the path ways until it form Panda Lake Waterfall at the end.
For a short walk, you will see Five-Coloured Lake.
In Chinese: 熊猫海瀑布， xiong mao hai pu bu
Panda Lake was named due to its strategy location to grow pandas. The lake has great source of bamboos to feed the Pandas. It is surrounded by white stones with several rings of black floral forms scatter naturally underwater and beside the lake.
If you continue walking toward north, you will see Panda Lake Waterfalls.
In Chinese: 熊猫海，xiong mao hai
Arrow Bamboo Lake is a calm lake as it is located on higher level next to Panda lake. It is named "Arrow Bamboo Lake" because it is surrounded by densely growing verdant arrow bamboos. It has beautiful reflextion of surrounded mountains due to its crystal clear water. There were many broken bamboos sink under the water.
Beside this lake is Panda Lake.
In Chinese: 箭竹海，jian zhu hai
Swan Lake is a lake continue with Grass Lake. Swans love to swim on this lake.
To walk another 10 minutes, you will reach Arrow Bamboo Lake.
In Chinese: 天鹅海，tian e hai
Grass Lake is located middle of Riza Valley, under mountain Wonuosemo. We began our walk here on Riza Valley. It has clear water and covered with grass.
Next to the lake is Swan Lake.
In Chinese: 芳草海，fang cao hai
Tiger Lake is formed by debris flow deposits. The water level is constant. Shuzheng Waterfall near the lake roars like a tiger. In autumn the gorgeous forests beside the lake looks like a tigers' fur. The reflections in the lake look like a lying tiger.
Next to Tiger Lake is Rhinoceros Lake.
In Chinese: 老虎海，lao hu hai
From Shu Zheng Lake, the water continues to flow downward beautifully. Then, it creates a natural waterfall. They named it Shu Zheng Fall.
There are different scenic views along the way with the birds and water sounds. Then, you will see the Tiger Lake.
In Chinese: 树正瀑布，shu zheng pu bu
Walking along path from Lying Dragon Lake to Shu Zheng Lake, we enjoyed the sound of the water running along the way to Shu Zheng Fall. We passed by a mill house with prayer wheels spin by running waters.
Shu Zheng Lake has an elevation of 2200 to 2290 meters, along water flowing 19 lakes of various sizes swirls between clumps of mosses and splashed down a series of natural dikes to spill in cascades down to willow-bordered pools.

In Chinese: 树正群海，shu zheng qun hai
From the beautiful Sparkling Lake, you can continue walking to see the water flowing to Lying Dragon Lake. Lying Dragon Lake has beautiful falls from all different directions, with amazing color as well.
Then, you will start exploring Shu Zheng Lake with a series of water streams.
