Took a bus from Shi Ling Bus Station which is located at the eastern edge of Chengdu. Bus runs regularly at about half an hr interval. Fee abt RMB 58 + (RMB2 for Handling fees).
Ride is almost entirely on a newly built expressway with the financial assistance of the Asian Development Bank. Previously without the expressway, it would have taken a 7 hr journey from Chengdu to Nanchong. Now it is a breezy 2 hr 15 min ride.
Again the bus station is located at an industrial sector of Nanchong. It took another RMB 10 taxi ride into the hotel in Nanchong
