Favorite thing: Picture is my lunch at Songpan with worldwide backpackers gathered for a quick meal, tasty for sure. This is a Hui-Moslem restaurant, selling beers is definitely a must in China, this one is no exception. 2 yuans for a big bottle of beer, don't tell me you can't afford.

Favorite thing: The main street is so straight leading to the big ancient gate made of rocks, some 2000 years ago I heard. The funny thing in China is the hotels, as usual we can only stay in hotels with special certificate of aliens, and unfortunately, Songpan has only two alien-certificates which means tourists are not so welcome to this place. Hotels are plentiful but just they are not allow to take foreign tourists.

Favorite thing: Songpan is a small town where most tourists come here to arrange their visits to Huanglong, Jiuzaiguo and other places. A stopover town but worth a visit especially the peoples and its culture.
