This park and another one nearby (for children) is one of the few tourists’ attractions of Tanggu. It is not far from the Catholic Church.

I would visit a very pretty Catholic Church the next day in Tianjin. This one in Tanggu was OK, but did not impress. Besides, it was closed.

Trains are wonderful in China, they are frequent, fast and cheap. Very rarely I used buses in China, only in the parts where there was not train service.

Tanggu Warnings and Dangers

Traffic is very scary in Tianjin and in China as general. Few times I consider to take a taxi across the street as 7 rmb insurance :).

Riding taxi at rush hours is intresting. Many times taxi passed traffic jam by driving oncoming lane and few times by driving sidewalk.

One scary thing with Chinese taxi drivers is side curtain. When there is a bit of sunshine they close left side curtain so that driver doesen't see to left at all..
