From up there, you can see the busy roads of taxis, bicycles and pedestrians. The cost is only 2 yuan.
Reminds me of similar double decker bus rides around Piccaddily Cirucs in London and along neon light signs of Nathan Road in Kowloon of Hong Kong.

One of the benefits was the prompt completion of the Beijing-Tianjin Express Train line and the new Train station.
One the way to Tianjin, I met a Chinese youth going back wearing the Olympics Volunteer shirt and carrying a boxful of Olympic mascot memorabilia given to him. He was very proud to be part of the success of Olympics Games and the opportunity to stay in Olympics Village.

We went to a restaurant attached to some hotel for lunch. The food was increadibly cheap, and the service from the waitresses very friendly. After the meal, we asked one of the waitresses for some recommended places to visit in the few hours we had left in Tianjin. Well, she said that she was due to knock off work shortly, and would be happy to show us around! That was it, she took us to see the sights and even arranged a taxi for us driven by one of her friends. He wouldn't accept any money from us.
It was wonderful for her to have done that for us. All she wanted to do was treat us as special guests in her home town, irrespective of the fact that we had merely walked into the restaurant where she happend to be waitressing. Leave a Comment

the train pekin-tien.tsin was very nice,with a service of food and drinks on board,and classical music also
it is impossible to get on board without ticket,there is a hostess in front of every entry of the train!it is very different from france,where trains are regularly visited by hords of criminals who can safely rob and rape...

I bought a clay figurine in the picture at clay figurines shop. Figurine is fragile, so you have to carry very carefully. As you notice from the picture attached, the doll has simple beauty. If you look at it, your heart would be healed. Leave a Comment

I cannot say much about Tianjin as i spent only one night there. But it is nice to see a different China than Beijing. Shopping was nice there !!! Leave a Comment
