Favorite thing: visit clay figurines shop near Tianhou Palace in the Culture Street. All the products have price there, so you are free from tough negotiation. This shop seems very popular among Chinese local tourist.
Fondest memory: I bought a clay figurine in the picture at clay figurines shop. Figurine is fragile, so you have to carry very carefully. As you notice from the picture attached, the doll has simple beauty. If you look at it, your heart would be healed.

Favorite thing: The hike up Mount Tai is spectacular. 100's of people of all ages climbing thousands of steps to a place of amazing beauty. You see this little temple at the top and think there is no way I will make it all the way up there but little stops along the way keep drawing you up and suddenly you are in a little city at the top with spectacular views all around. Magic!!
