    the same as Beijing,Tianjin is also windy and dry.
    and the air polution is serious,maybe one of the world worst.

    Prepare for the Pollution and Dust

    • You might want to invest in the ever popular "SARS" mask. They're very cheap - just a few yuan, and they are not intended for SARS, rather to block the pollution, dust, and cold air from entering your lungs. You won't feel out of place -everyone wears them in the colder weather and you can find them at any local street shopping area.

    Women, bring your feminine products with you. Selections are limited.

    Food coloring. My friends borrowed green dye from another foreigner on st. Patrick's day and on Easter couldn't find any more dye in stores so they had to dye all of their eggs green with what was left over from St. Patty's day.
