Favorite thing: Large paintings on the rocks for all to see. They can often be seen close to monasteries or in places where they can be seen from far, and are just one of many art forms in Tibet, almost as ephemeral as the mandala, which has no importance in Buddhism since the notion of time is cyclical rather than linear like the judeo-christian one.
