This is our first stop after leaving our luggage to hotel. It was a small restaurant with a modest ambiance. I must admit that I was surprised when the food came. Everything was so delicious. We ate lots of stuff which I barely remember. The soup was very good, I remember some noodles, spring rolls and rice dishes. We were so full and happy after the dinner. Then our guide gave us the good news that we would have our next lunch here, before leaving Shigatse.
The place is highly recommendable. You can have all meals here during your stay in Shigatse. It is just across the Tashilhunpo Monastery.

The food is the best I found in Shigatse. It is a bit out of the way. There is a small seeting area with couch and tables. A very relaxed atmosphere. They do have an english menu which makes things much easier.
Favorite Dish: Any of the Tibetan or Nepali dishes
