Favorite thing: I saw some barber shops in the Uyghur bazaar area and I saw they hired young boys about age 14 to do the trivial works. The boy was using a piece of cloth scrubbing speedily on a customer's hair, very skillfully done. That was probably a service provided by the barber shop.

Favorite thing: Somewhere in town, we were at a bazaar, strolling around searching for interesting goods. We saw a fruit stall and was thinking to buy some fresh fruits. While asking about the price, suddenly a lady walk in and said " the price is too much ", probably she dislike the fruit guy cheating tourists. Then the guy scolded her very loudly in Uyghur language...

Favorite thing: In Qiemo, you can see so many strong women make living this way. We were on a trishaw pedalled by a woman, very strong physically, she has very sweet voice, made me thinking she should belong to relaxing at home watching tv.
