Local guide

If you are hiring a local guide, be sure to make it clear that you will tip him/her gracefully if she/he doesn't lead you to those tourist shopping place. The salary of local guide is very low and their major income is from the shopping of the tourists. This turned out to be very bad, you were not able to do real sightseeing instead you were trapped in some tourist store.Never go with a group tourism. The only group tourism we attended is in Dunhuang and that experience is certainly not good.
