Favorite thing: Jinghong is the capital of the prefecture called Xishuang Banna.This prefecture is self-governed by the minority race called DAI.
The kids here go to school and in addition to learning Chinese, they also learn DAI.
Fondest memory: The road signs have both languages written on it.

Favorite thing: Not to dump garbage is written by red paint on the wall. I saw quite many spots they wrote this notice to help encouraging more environment care in this town of Jinghong, very good.

Favorite thing: When I visited their village here, they are local minority which in China is non-Han. They have pigs in their house, every households have pigs, in fact all peoples in Yunnan have pigs.

Favorite thing: In the villages, most people grow fruit trees around their houses.
Papaya, banana, pamelo, mango, yam, jackfruit and plenty more.
Fondest memory: A big fat juicy pamelo hanging from the branch.
