I just love this photograph. I have posted it before (on VT??) but in colour. I like it even more in black and white.
The tip? Errrrrr. Take plenty of film! The whole area is just one big "Must See Activity"

Local map of the main lake at Puzhehei. The entrance area is at the bottom, where there is a green arch. The Yinhu hotel is towards the end of the road that goes for about 2km noerth-east from there, just where it crosses the lake.

It is difficult to adequately describe the serene beauty of this whole area. The authorities have contrived to ruin the area at the far southern end, but there is a whole plain of villages, lakes, karts scenery and pastoral scenes.
The changing light throughout the day makes this a magical place, especially at dawn and sunset.
