There are many colourful and interesting, arts & crafts in Yunnan mainly due to the many ethnic groups living here. Essentially, the ethnic groups make beautiful clothings, jeweleries, handicrafts etc.
Basically, all the ethnic groups of Yunnan loves to sing and dance, and all of them have such beautiful music, songs and dances. When you are among the ethnic groups, you are really like transported to another place.
The Bai people are another ethnic group living in Yunnan, mainly in the Dali region. The Bai people have very beautiful dances and architecture of their houses. They are also famous for the "Three Teas" ceremony.
The houses of the Dai people are made from wood, and there are many customs to be observed when you are in their house. For example, there are certain structures which you are not supposed to touch and you are not supposed to go into their bedrooms.
The Dai people are one of the ethnic groups in Yunnan, especially in the southern Xishuangbanna region. These people are related to the Thais with similar customs such as the water festival, colourful umbrellas, Buddhism etc.
Yi minority group can be found near Tiger Leaping Gorge. The females wear a big hat.
Dai people live mainly in Xishuangbanna (southern Yunnan). They have their own language and believe in buddhism. Their language and culture are very much similar to that of Thai people.
Bai minority group mainly resides in Dali. They have unique architecture, costume as well as fabulous tie dyed fabric.
