The place for foreigners to meet and share a beer, a shot or 2. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Daily specials. Live music every night! Flat screens playing important sporting events. Comfortable atmosphere. Includes many English speaking employees. So you don't need to worry of your lack of Chinese. Almost every night includes a few foreign faces. The drink menu is loaded and if they don't have it listed feel free to create your own. The owner is a former bartender from Canada and he has taught his staff the exquisite way to create cocktails of all sorts.
If you get the chance to get to The Red Cactus, surely the owner or his wife will sit and chat and make you feel at home.
Favorite Dish: Popular food items at the Cactus include their homemade pizzas, potato wedges, (the only place in Jinhua to find them) quesadillas & mozzarella cheese sticks.
Popular cocktails include, Long Island Ice Tea, Sex on the Beach, Black Russians and the owner's own drink Amnesia (warning - do not drink too many of these or you will feel it the next day)

danny's cafe is located 100 meters away from the best western. it used to be more downtown at the jinmao tower. but since last month we relocated our restaurant to the outskirts of the city. very convenient for business travellers coming to jinhua. if your sick and tired of the buffet food of the best western come to danny's for proper italian espresso, latte, cappuccino. although it's called danny's cafe it's more like a proper restaurant the menu has a large variety of salads, soups, pastas, sandwiches, a mixture of well known main course dishes, cheese platter, home made cakes and desserts, a good variety of foreign beers and wines.
also wifi and a daily English newspaper is available. doing your office work online with a nice cup of coffee is what every business man or woman needs in jinhua.

Almost all foods here have some form of meat product in them, except for the sweets, meat is expensive but a little goes a long way and tastes wonderfully satisfing
Favorite Dish: The mien/noodle dishes with small portions of vegetables and spice are available for flavorings........ the noodles are always freshly made right in front of your eyes........ always pick foods that are prepared fresh and hot.... their crispy foods of a lightly fried crust with ingredients of your choice, is a Must Try......... yum !
Always have a nice tea with your meal...... the water is always boiled to prepare tea, so harmful bacteria will be killed, so as not to get ill and spoil your trip.........
