This island is reached from a ferry boat. My wife and I, with our friend Iris were dropped off and rode the ferry. I believe the price was 10 yuan. We went for our wedding photo shoot. The island was very clean with nice paved paths. Scenery was gorgeous! There were booths to buy food and I can't tell you what my wife and friend ate, but they loved it!

Address: This river cuts thru the Northen part of town.
A few hours drive out of Wenzhou is the Nanxijiang Scenic Area - well worth a visit.
The river itself is very clean and shallow, although the current are strong in a few places. Most visitors congregate in a few select areas where parking and shops are available, although there are plenty of areas where you can just pull over - just watch your car, as there are a few undesirable characters in the area who see tourists as a nice source of income.

Also on the island, the bridge side, is a rather decrepid looking amusement park, although this was covered in weeds when I was there...
