Some of the ticketed attractions were quite disappointing, I wouldn't have gone in if I didn't have a combined ticket. Those included the tile museum, furniture museum (felt more like a shop), the various "residences" (maybe I've seen too much of similar ones) etc. If you've seen the nicer gardens in Suzhou/elsewhere, feel free to skip the Xi1 Yuan2 (West Garden) and Zui4 Yuan2 (Drunken Garden).
