    Various Temples in Hong Kong

by machomikemd Updated Sep 24, 2014

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Favorite thing: Being a Buddhist and Daoist Majority Area, Hong Kong has many Temples of various Branches of Buddhism, Taoism (Daoisim) and Confucianism that are scattered all around the territory and they range from simple small village temples to the elaborate community temples of which anyone is free to enter the various Temples in Hong Kong with no restrictions except removing your footwear before entering the temples and by wearing modest wear asyou should respect the religious sensitivities of the People (so wearing shorts, sleeveless shirts, mini skirts, tank tops is a no no).

Fondest memory: feel free to enter the many temples in Hong Kong

Favorite thing: Tin-Hau temple is the religious center in Yau-Ma-Tei.
Its peaceful garden makes it unusual in busy city.
