Although Kowloon is very densely populated, there are several natural places in the northern part of the island especially near to the border with Guangdong province of China. Furthermore, you can also take excursions to places such as Lantau Island and Lamma Island where there is more natural scenery and the life is slower pace. These places have opportunities for you to do some simple trekking (hiking).

As A Roman Catholic, I always try to find Catholic Churches in areas that I go and Hear mass or say a prayer hence here in HK, Rosary Catholic Church is the place for Worship. Rosary Church, Chatham Road, the oldest Catholic Church on the Kowloon Peninsula, was founded a century ago by Fr. Giovanni M. Spada to service Catholic Faithful in Hong Kong.
Rosary Catholic Church is located in 125 Chatham Road South, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon.
