walking along victoria harbour is something nice. several old buildings still remains, for example clock tower at the end of nathan road to direction peking road. and about the ferry ... here my picture show the same landscape about views towards hongkong island with star ferry as an object -- just like taken by million tourists who's been in kowloon.
speaking about star ferry itself, has many ferries and the unique thing, the name always ended with "star" like northern star, evening star etc. it's a long history about kowloon - hongkong ferry line, from 18th century.

Fantastic fun for all ages. A highly stimulating audio-visual experience on a grand scale, with the awe-inspiring Hong Kong skyline as its setting. The walk of fame is well-lit with good security and is very easily accessed from the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (subway) station.

This clock tower is a bizarre remnant of Kowloons old railway station, and is all that is left of it. The train station has now moved, and the harbour front is hot property. If you are at the Star Ferry terminal on Kowloon, you can't miss it (if you step back from the ferry terminal building to look at it, the clock is on your left.
This is one of those things that is much more interesting if you know the history behind it. Otherwise it is just another clock tower.

Nathan Road is the main road in Kowloon with lots of hotels, shopping centres, restaurants etc. There are also several MTR subway stations located here and a visit to Hong Kong is not complete if you do not experience the atmosphere of Nathan Road.

Kowloon Park is a nice space of green, flowers and silence. A real respite from the hustling Tsim Sha Tsui.
It has been built on the site of the Whitfield barracks, which were home to British and Indian troops.

Tung Choi Street is famous for its goldfish market.
I never saw so many golfishs ! Orange, yellow, brown, red ... so many colors !
I learned that goldfish is very important in feng shui, because the Chinese word for fish, “yu”, is the same as the word for success. If placed in the office and/or home good fortune will follow !

Visited the Hong Kong Museum of History on a Wednesday which is free admission day. Went to the museum thinking we'd only spend 2 hours there. We ended up spending close to 5 hours because there was so much to see. This museum is absolutely amazing. A lot of the exhibits brought back memories for my mom who remembered what it was like living in Hong Kong and Kowloon over 30 years ago. A few things she remembered: when water was scarce back in the 60's and when there used to be a lot of junks in the waters - now there are hardly any.
There are 8 sections to the museum:
1) The Natural Environment
2) Prehistoric Hong Kong
3) The Dynasties: From the Han to the Qing
4) Folk Culture in Hong Kong
5) The Opium Wars & the Cession of Hong Kong
6) Birth & Early Growth of the City
7) The Japanese Occupation
8) Modern Metropolis & The Return to China

On a rainy day (which was almost every day) in Kowloon, we went to the Hong Kong Museum of Art. Part of it was closed for a few months, but was still worth a visit. It's not expensive, and has very interesting historical exhibits. One of the exhibits displayed drawings of earlier Hong Kong and Macau, so you will see how the cities were built.
There is also an interesting calligraphy exhibit, which demonstrates great calligraphy skills.
The building itself is big and has nice couches if you feel like taking break.

Lots of FISH here. Big fish, small fish, all kinds of fish. Fish in plastic bags and fish in tanks. My Great Uncle lives on this street and has the pleasure of walking through this street everytime he takes the steps down from his apartment. My dad loved hanging out on this street.
