One would say, if you ever visit Hong Kong, one must visit the "Ladies Martket". It's a 5 mins walk from Mongkok MTR station.
I've visited it but I will not recommed to my friends/relatives. Unless you like bargainable fake stuff, otherwise you go to these streets for their yummy food.
They are hardly any streetname on the streets. If you exit from the MTR station, do not bother to look for the Ladies Market, start you shopping from the moment you step out for the MTR station, you will get to Ladies Market eventually. :P

Address: Mongkok Station
This is the "temple" of Temple Street and offers a chance to explore a little bit of the culture here. It is not a large building and was not very busy at all. Most of the activity occurs in the markets in this area. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of those who travel by sea and has some interesting shrines inside of it. There is an open area in front of the temple if you are looking for a rest from the busy city all around you.

There are shopping opportunities everywhere you go in Kowloon. The main street, Nathan Street, is lit up at night with neon signs of brand named merchandise. There are also marketplaces where you can buy just about anything. One of the most famous is the Temple Street Night Market. Here, you will find a line of stalls featuring all types of merchandise. Prices are not necessarily fixed either. It is very possible to negotiate a lower price.
The Jade Market also offers opportunities for bargaining. Besides jade, there are other crafted items available for sale. A handcarved dragonball is one example of such an item.

In this picture, Virginia (VT member vigi) is posing amidst the famous Mong Kok market of Mong Kok district, drinking fresh coconut milk... You can find all manner of products for sale at this market, which is somewhat reminiscent of the Chinatown market in Kuala Lumpur... There are a lot of fresh fruits on sale, such as dragon fruit, durian, and the oranges you see here... This market is also a good place to find good prices on clothes for men, women and children...

The solitary and mysterious clock tower that you will see adjacent to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre alongside the harbour is the last remnant of the Kowloon-Canton Railway Terminus which was demolished in 1978. The clock tower was built in 1915 and the clock itself began operating in 1921. Located just next to the Star Ferry Pier...

Don't spend all your time shopping and remember to visit Hong Kong island as well. In Hong Kong island, you can visit the famous Victoria Peak, take the tram rides and go to places such as Stanley Bay, Repulse Bay etc.

As in all shopping experiences, you must learn how to bargain and this includes when you are in Kowloon. It is easier for me because I am a Cantonese and I know how to communicate with the local people. Nevertheless, many people in Kowloon knows English so language should not be a major problem when shopping.
