Found this place tucked above the general Lan Kwai Fong district. Very international crowd. Well-heeled locals and those in the entertainment industry. You'll find many in their 20's, people traveling from Australia, expats from the UK.
Dress Code: Because of its popularity - dressing well is a requisite. But getting there early also does the trick.

This bar is IT! It is removed from the touristy Lan Kwai Fong. It is like a mirror - if you feel friendly and chatty, the place can't be beat. If you want to chill on the couches, no one will bother you.
Decor is cool, a wall of liquor behind glass walls. DJs are ultracool. Staff is genuine and fun. Get on their good side and you can party with them til 6AM after their shift.
They host awesome parties with awesome crowds. Very international and trendy crowd. Start dancing with random strangers and make friends!
Dress Code: Don't try too hard - but going with all black never hurts!

Klong is the name of a very elegant and inspired Thai bar/restaurant/nightclub in Wan Chai... All things considered, this is my favorite night spot in Hong Kong... The place has very stylish decor on a Thai theme, and provides excellent atmosphere... VT member vigi introduced me to it one night and I've been wanting to make a return trip ever since...!

Club Makati on the Hong Kong Island side. Best music around and lots of pretty Filipinas and visiting civilians and US/other military to dance with.
Great collection of many nationalities, dominated by ladies from the Philippines who are there as nannies. Nightlife generally is loud, friendly, and can be quite expensive. Unless you're Bill Gates or Li Ka-shing, don't bother going to a Hostess Club. The bill will be as much as your airline ticket.
Dress Code: Various. For the more expensive clubs, a business suit is either suggested or required for entry.
