You walk everywhere here..no public transport. Walk round to a bay that is polluted and has concrete dumped in it. There's a small temple with a container of live turtles outside - are they to be sacrificed or saved?

The pizza is good. Can sit outside, but the view is ugly just looking at a big wall. shouldl be a good view on an island, but not at this place. Slow service. Better get the pizza for takeaway and eat in a nicer place. Staff mistake some order.
Favorite Dish: good pizza. same style like Wildfire and same price.

They cook Cantonese food, and have menu in english and cantonese. Dinner or lunch for 2 will cost about HKD 120. Very delicious food, very fresh, but very small restaurant. I was not expecting anything speical, so a great surprise to find this place. Quality and price is better than average on peng chau. I recommend getting the food for take away and then enjoying your meal having picnic on the beach. Tung Wan beach is nice place to sit, 5 minutes walk. Any local people can tell you the way to go.

Address: The very end of the main street, on the corner
I visited this small street cafe (the name of which I was never able to determine) for a quick drink before heading back on a boat to Central Hong Kong.
This small cafe (in fact, little more than a kiosk) offers a few outdoor plastic tables beneath umbrellas, located on Lo Peng Street right next door to the Wellcome supermarket.
The main item for sale at the cafe is fruit juice. A large selection of flavours, including lemon, lime, orange, carrot, melon and strawberry can be purchased here. I opted for a Fresh lemon juice, freshly squeezed and served with lots of ice and costing just 12 HKD for a large glass. Milkshakes, coffee and tea were also available.
A small assortment of food including chicken wings, rice, noodles, fish balls, spring rolls and sandwiches was also available for purchase.
A relaxed cafe, ideal for a cold fruit juice and a quick snack.

Ferries leave for Peng Chau from pier number 6 in Central on Hong Kong Island approximately every hour during the day from early morning to late in the evening.
Outbound, I caught one of the ordinary ferries (journey time 40 minutes, cost 10.5 HKD adults / 5.3 HKD children and OAPs). Returning to Central I caught one of the fast ferries (cutting the journey time down to 25 minutes for a cost of 21 HKD).
Peng Chau is also connected with Mui Wo on Lantau Island, about 3 km away. In fact, the ferry from Central carries on to Mui Wo after stopping at Peng Chau.
Prices correct at January 2006: (1 GBP = 13.7 HKD)

Just a 15 mins walk from the harbour of the island. You can find a beach . Although it is not beautiful beach for swimming , it is worth to see the sunset ! This island is the east of Lantau Island and near Discovery Bay.
