Golden Bauhinia is located at the basement of the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wanchai. A few tables are facing the harbour.
Service is very efficient and attentive. Indeed, I thought there were a lot of waiters working there, you would always find one around your table if you need anything.
The ambience is relaxing as the decoration is very simple yet elegant. Furthermore, I appreciate the fact that each table is separated from the another one in a good distance, you can hear yourself talk. You would know what I mean if you have been to some more popular dim sum restaurants : you have to yell if you want to be heard by people sitting at your table !!
Favorite Dish: A few dim sum dishes have won a national contest in 2002. We ordered Ha Kao and BBQ pork bun, which were good. Also, I must specially recommand their Abalone and Shrimp rice flour. It's really good and the shrimps taste really fresh.
We ordered scallop dumplings : very tasty !!
In total, we had 6 dim sum dishes + fried rice for 350 HKD.
