It's a best place for couples because it's quite dark there, you can share the time with your partners.
Favorite Dish: Highly recommend because this is my customer when I was working in the bank.
Try the goldfinch steak, and the traditional soup (my customer told me that they use special technic to cook it)

I used to eat at the Goldfinch almost on a daily basis, as it was conveniently located near to my appartment in Causeway Bay, in the 1970's/80's. During my trip to HK in Nov 2005 I decided to see if the Goldfinch was still in business, and was pleasently surprised to see it still there in Lan Fong Rd, just as it always was. Got a great welcome from the same two owners when I introduced myself to them again and received the same great standards of service and delicious food as though time had stood still for all those years. Cafe' de Goldfinch is a well run poular restuarants, which is always busy with local clientelle and offers great value for money. Not a "posh" or flashy place, but a nice intimate restuarant with fast and efficient service and most importantly great food.
Favorite Dish: My partner reckons the Baked Rice with Seaood is the best dish she has ever tasted anywhere!!! Me I recommend the Sizzling Black Pepper Steak. The Bortsch Soup is a must for the starter.
