Egg tart is famous dessert from Macau. Years ago the food was very hot in Taiwan. Egg tart shops opened one after one. However, finally it resulted in bubbles in Taipei city.
It's really nice experience to try the famous dessert in Macau restaurant.
We ate and found why they succeed: warm, good taste, nice price.

Be prepared to wait for your table, as Macau Restaurant seems very popular. During our dinner, there was never a table empty for longer than a minute.
Favorite Dish: I had Macanese Roasted Pork Cheek with baked rice. This dish comes at HK$52 and is very, very delicious. I wasn't brave enough to try the Baby Pigeon. May be next time....

A great variety of Macau food. If u visit during lunch or dinner time, be prepared to queue! The place is quite crowded. We ordered roasted pigeon, pork chop bun and lime 7-up. The roasted pigeon is enough for 1 person only, quite small. The pork chop bun is nice!
Favorite Dish: Pork chop bun

My 2 favourites "Char Chan Tang" (HK style eating house) are Tsui Wah and this one, Macau Restaurant. Special: Fast, Good, Cheap! Besides high quality food, they always change their menu to introduce some new dishes. It is not a decent place to take your date though, typical HK style eating house, noisy and crowded, expect to share tables with strangers. Less than HK$50 per person.
Favorite Dish: Wow... my favourite of this restaurnat will be a long list, most of the things the served are good. Okay, here're some of my ALL TIME favourites...
1. Pork Chop Buns
2. Deep Fried Pigeon
3. Cold Coffee
4. Stewed Beef Macaroni Soup

This is a popular franchise in Hong Kong that caters to Macanese cuisine. Please arrive early for lunch and dinner, as there are always line ups outside the restaurant.
Favorite Dish: Try the famous Pork Chop Burger for HK$15.
