This is a Chiu Chow restaurant. Chiu Chow is cantonese and is the name of a famous region in Guangdong province in China.
Pak Loh has been around for almost 3 decades. In the last few years, it has gone through renovation. Lately, it has even opened another outlet at Lee Theatre Plaza (also in Causeway Bay).
Service is quite efficient and friendly. Also, the waiter who helped us order the food was helpful and smiling. I appreciate the fact that the waiter told us to not order too many dishes and re-order if it's not enough.
Favorite Dish: The goose here is very good though a bit expensive, 70 HKD for a portion. One of my favorite dish is the oysters fried with egg pancake, it's delicious !
At Pak Loh, you can also try their minced pigeon. It comes in with lettuce and vinegar. You should put the minced pigeon inside the lettuce sheets and pour some vinegar over it. It's pretty good !
