If you like Peking Duck, this is where you'll want to go. Peking Garden specializes in Pekingese and northern Chinese dishes. It is my favourite place for is my favourite place for Peking Duck. A little pricy and touristic with the noddle-making performance, and breaking-beggar's-chicken and photo taking inside the restaurnts. But the thing is they really serve good food with that price. Better book a table in advance, this place is always full. Try to be here during its nightly presentation of handmade noodles at 8 or 8:30pm.
Favorite Dish: - Peking Duck of course
- beggar's chicken
- stir-fried Pekingese noodles with shredded pork
- Hunan ham with Chinese cabbage
- fried prawns with sweet and sour sauce
- fried egg white with crab meat.

The closest Peking Garden was right behind the Mandarin Oriental in Alexandra house. Unfortunately, it was closed for renovation so we headed out to the one at the Star House. There were several reasons why I was disappointed. When I was asking around for recommendations on a restaurant that serves the best peking duck, this seemed like everyone's unanimous choice. The service was severely lacking. The waitress who took our order was the same one who carved everyone's turkey so she was running around like crazy catering to everyone's needs. The food was good, but it wasn't excellent. The peking duck wasn't even as good as it should've been considering the price and the restaurant's reputation.
Favorite Dish: I liked the Peking duck although the skin wasn't crisp the way it should be.
