You know how all those office ladies from Japan fly into Hong Kong with 5 kg of luggage and go home with 25 kg? Well, Stanley Market on the south side of Hong Kong island is where they go to buy a lot of the clothes they take home. There's no haute couture here - just cheap and cheerful clothing at ridiculous prices. Great place to stock up on summer tee-shirts.

Go to the Stanley Markets...there are lots of things to look at and buy.
I was amazed at the many different stalls...a lot were womens clothes (pyjamas and such) but there were all types of stalls in there. It was a bit hot and smelly under the covers though so we didn't last in there too long... Leave a Comment

well after allthe malls and really expensive stores such as christian dior and co. The Stanley Market is such a difference. There you can find everything you can imaggine at the quarter of regular prices...but you really have to bargin till you die. Leave a Comment
