The airport in Hong Kong is not a bad place if you are stuck there for a few hours. a couple of good restaurants to eat and little duty free stores for ya to kill some time.

You can a get a shuttle bus from the airport to your hotel for about seven pounds in english sterling. It may involve a wait but cheaper than a taxi. buses are as cheap as chips and run frequently.

Not only does Central Ferry Pier provide ferry service to Lamma Island, Aberdeen is also another starting point. It costs HK$10 one way from Aberdeen to Lamma Island (Yung Shue Wan).
