tai mo shan is the home of big mist mountain [tai mo shan, 957 m above sea level]. and tai mo shan became one of the maclehose trail's stage. speaking about maclehose trail itself, it's a hundred-kilometre-long hiking route. it's links 7 different country parks and divided into 10 different signposted stages -- each connected with public transport. congrats for my friend trisha [chicago, usa] who already done this trail completely :)
there's annual charity race event with target of 48 hours trekking at maclehose trail. and the complete stages of this trail as follows:

there's a long bridge named tsing ma which connecting tsuen wan west area to tsing yi island and lantau island. it's a nice landcape to be seen in the evening before dinner. there's no hectic nor traffic jam around. and tsing ma itself, said as the world's longest rail and road suspension bridge.

tsuen wan and tsuen wan west local markets are nice place to be visited. here can be found many fresh fruits, veggies, chinese specialized fermented, dried and salted food [such as salty fish and thousand years egg and dried beancurd], chinese tea and herbs, cooked food until goldfish and many kind of fresh water fish to be put in the aquarium at home! and not to be missed also fresh roses and kind of flowers. looks so lovely.
